Kamo Shrine, which stands amidst a grove of cedar trees and has a majestic atmosphere, has been referred to as a power spot since it was featured on YouTube.
The shrine is located in the mountains behind the Nakae village, and neat cedar groves line both sides of the gently sloping, straight approach road. The dense, humid soil keeps the approach road covered in moss.
There are three shrines inside the roof, and the shrine buildings on the left and right are both one-bay shrines of the same size. The one on the left is Kamo Shrine, and the one on the right is Kifune Shrine and Kumano Shrine. The small shrine in the center is Inari Shrine.
Please be careful when there is snow in winter.

The ruins of Shuzan Castle, built entirely of stone walls by Akechi Mitsuhide, are said to be the largest mountain castle built during the Sengoku period in western Japan. At the foot of the castle ruins is Jigenji Temple, which enshrines a black-painted seated statue of Akechi Mitsuhide.
There are few historical documents about Akechi Mitsuhide, and he is considered one of the most mysterious warlords of the Sengoku period, but Shuzan Jigenji Temple is home to a black, ink-painted seated statue known as "Kuromitsu Daiyuson."
After subjugating Tamba, Akechi Mitsuhide ruled the region with good governance, and a seated statue was made in honour of his character and out of reverence. However, perhaps to avoid the stigma of being a traitor, the statue was painted completely black with ink and has been quietly enshrined by the people of Shuzan to this day as a secret statue unknown to the public.
