The current main shrine was built in 1703 (Genroku 16) in the early Edo period, and became "Kasuga Daimeijin" in 1723 (Kyoho 8) in the middle of the Edo period, and "Kasuga" in 1883 (Meiji 16). It was decided as "a shrine".



"Treasure storehouse" in the precincts is a wooden wall storehouse with a rare form built in 1337 (Kenmu 4th year) during the Nanbokucho period, and is designated as a tangible cultural property of Kyoto City as the oldest existing Itakura that can be confirmed in the Keihoku area. I am.
