Kurio Pass is a pass on the Shuzan Kaido (former National Highway No. 162) with an altitude of about 600 m, and you can overlook the Yuge district from Shuzan.Thick fog wraps around the town on sunny mornings from autumn to winter, and the mountains that you can see in it are mysterious and often stop.
The view of Kurio Pass is designated as [Keihoku Ten Scenic Areas].
Before the completion of the Keihoku tunnel, Kurio Pass was known as a difficult place for traffic, but now that the tunnel has opened, it can be used as a bicycle path or sidewalk.Also, if you go down from the top of the pass toward the Zhoushan side, you will find an observatory.From here, you can see the center of Zhoushan and the vicinity of Gohonmatsu.
