This "Takimata Stone Buddha" is actually a new stone Buddha.
Mr. Norihiko Yotsuji, who was born and raised in Keihoku, spent more than XNUMX years trying to leave something as a proof that he lived in his hometown, and created his own mountain stone Buddha group.Mr. Yotsuji's dream is to see the stone Buddha XNUMX years from now.

To get to "Takimata Stone Buddha," head towards Keihoku on National Route 162 and enter from the forest road just past the village just before the Keihoku Tunnel. There is a parking lot just before the Keihoku Tunnel. Along the forest road, there is a large sign that reads "Takimata Stone Buddha" and "Takimata Falls," so you can easily find it.

The forest road is paved, but halfway through it narrows and goes up a little bit like a trail along the stream.
