NEON ART MUSEUM

Perhaps entering this museum will change the concept of neon that you have seen so far.
It is a museum where works of such neon art are collected.

Neon artist Tetsuo Yasuhiko has a museum near Yamaguni Shrine that collects about XNUMX pieces of neon art that he has created over the past XNUMX years.

What is Neon Art
Just as there is a word "neon town", it reminds me of the neon signs on the advertising towers.
The neon lights created by Mr. Yasuhiko are not just signs, but combine various materials such as iron and tiles with neon light to express a delicate, warm, and profound world.

At the museum, rather than "seeing" the work, you can experience the feeling of "touching the neon light and experiencing the energy of the light in the space".
The works on display are "Neon Forest", which is a fusion of iron objects and faint neon light, in the form of birds, butterflies, and plants. It is introduced by series, such as "FREEDOM", which expresses freedom and inconvenience using iron chains.

"BLACK & WHITE", monochrome works of black and white

After graduating from university, Mr. Yasuhiko moved to North America and after turning XNUMX, studied technology at a neon college in the United States.
Based in Kyoto, I have continued to create works in order to spread the appeal of neon art, which has "thoughts" and "messages" in Japan.Of course, new neon art is still being born.
