Karin Garden Cafe

Garden cafe surrounded by forest
From the road to Utsukyo Park, follow Prefectural Road XNUMX along the stream and you will see a cute garden opposite the stream.

The rose-centered garden is well-maintained, with stools, chairs and tables all over the place, giving you a leisurely view of the flowers and the Keihoku forest that surrounds the garden.
There are more than XNUMX kinds of roses, and more than XNUMX kinds of trees and plants grow to blend into various buildings.

This place started about 20 years ago when the couple was looking for forest to create a dog run. The wife began growing roses, and the husband built the building, gazebo, chairs, tables, and even the iron supports for the roses himself.

The feature of the garden is that you can enjoy the scenery of Keihoku forest everywhere.
The flowers are mainly roses, but cherry blossoms in spring, fresh green in May, roses from the latter half of May to June, and summer scenery of planting, autumn leaves and gardens and the changing seasons of the Keihoku forest are tea at the cafe. You can enjoy it slowly while having lunch (reservation required for lunch pizza: limited to 5 pieces a day). The location of the cafe can be a gazebo, a table under a big tree, depending on the weather of the day and your wishes.

Since there are only two people, my husband and wife, I can't handle a large number of people, so when I come to the park, it would be helpful if I could ask by phone.
