Yamaguni Sakigake Center ( Natto, Natto Rice Cake, Miso, Rice)

As a food specialty store that uses locally produced raw materials that do not use pesticides or chemical fertilizers as much as possible, it is a store that pursues the unique taste of this region with the help of the environment rich in nature and spares time and effort.

We make products made from rice and soybeans, and cherish local products, and manufacture them one by one.

We cannot mass-produce natto, natto mochi sweets, handmade miso, and rice from the mountains, but all of them are handmade products.

The Keihoku / Yamakuni area is said to be one of the birthplaces of natto, and has long been eating natto rice cake as a celebration of the New Year.
Natto mochi is made by wrapping roasted mochi with salted natto and a small amount of sugar and sprinkling it with soybean flour.
Since its shape resembles a knitted hat, it is named "Amigasa Natto Mochi (abbreviated as Amigasamochi)" and is made so that it can be eaten at any time as a sweet.
We also recommend ``Natto Mochi,'' which is made by combining rice cake and salted natto with a mortar.

During the turbulent times of the Northern and Southern Dynasties, Emperor Kogon, who was the first emperor of the Northern Court, started his priesthood at Joshokoji Temple in Kyoto Kitayama, and more than 650 years ago, Emperor Kogon used to use natto. A picture scroll showing that is being conveyed.
