The store name "Shiojiken", which was founded more than 30 years ago, comes from the fact that the first generation had goodwill from a store called "Shioji" who trained from the XNUMX year of the Meiji era to the early Taisho era.
The current owner is the 4th generation, and after training at Surugaya, he returned in 9 and is one of the longest-established Japanese sweets stores in Keihoku.
Shiojiken's sweets, which are slowly and carefully made using the old-fashioned manufacturing method, have the same simple taste as XNUMX years ago, as if they were wrapped in the nature of Satoyama.
You can enjoy nostalgic Japanese sweets such as Jyoyo Manju, Kibi Mochi, Chestnut Mochi, Kurio Shigure, Monaka, Yokan, Kusa Mochi, and Wakaayu.

The signature product "Kibimochi" was devised 60 years ago after the 3rd generation completed training, and is loved by all people of all ages, from children to the elderly, for its light taste. It is also recommended for souvenirs from Keihoku and hospitality for visitors.

The perfect balance of fresh cream, coffee bean paste, and mochi, with a modest sweetness.
It is sold frozen, but it can be thawed at room temperature in about 15 minutes, so it is easy to eat.
